Founded in Dublin in 2011 by Eoghan McCabe, Des Traynor, Ciaran Lee, and David Barrett, the company now supports more than 25,000 customer organisations.
Intercom maintains its global headquarters in San Francisco with a substantial Dublin engineering hub. The Australian operation, based in Sydney, employs revenue, customer success, and partnerships staff who serve APAC customers in local business hours. Intercom runs a hybrid work model with hub-city expectations of two to three days a week onsite.
Intercom is privately held and has raised more than US$240 million in venture funding. Australian openings typically include account executive and customer success roles, with occasional intakes for solutions engineering and product specialists serving the APAC market.
