About Vodafone
What Vodafone does, its mission and values, and what it's like to work there in Australia.
Vodafone is one of Australia's major mobile and broadband providers, offering mobile plans, home internet, and related services. Since its 2020 merger with TPG, the Vodafone Australia business has been part of TPG Telecom (ASX: TPG), which also runs the TPG, iiNet, and felix brands. Vodafone employs around 1,500 people in Australia, based in offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth and a contact centre in Hobart, and runs around 100 company-owned retail stores.
Jobs fall into a few groups. Retail roles — in company-owned stores and a wider dealer network — cover sales and customer service. Contact-centre roles, concentrated in Hobart, handle customer support, technical help, and retention.
Office-based roles across the capital cities cover network and IT engineering, technology and digital, marketing, finance, legal, and people functions, with the broader TPG Telecom group hiring across its brands. Applications are handled through the Vodafone and TPG Telecom careers sites; CareerTrees links through to those official listings.
