The company supplies card-payment terminals, business loans, and transaction accounts to roughly 70,000 small and medium-sized merchants across hospitality, health, and retail.
Founded in 2003 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2019 (ASX: TYR), Tyro operates its headquarters in Sydney and runs a Melbourne office for additional engineering and revenue staff. Most non-engineering roles operate on a hybrid model with two to three days a week in the office expected.
