Rebel — often known as Rebel Sport — is an Australian sporting-goods retailer selling footwear, apparel, and equipment across team sports, fitness, running, and the outdoors. Founded in 1985, it is part of the ASX-listed Super Retail Group (ASX: SUL) and runs around 160 stores nationwide, typically in shopping centres, alongside a large online store.
Most jobs are in stores: retail sales assistants with sports and fitness knowledge, footwear and apparel specialists, customer service and point-of-sale, and stock and online order fulfilment. Store leadership runs from 2ICs and assistant managers to store managers.
Behind the stores sit Super Retail Group's distribution centres and its Brisbane support office, providing merchandise and buying, e-commerce, marketing, supply chain, and corporate roles. Store positions are commonly casual or part-time under the General Retail Industry Award and the group's enterprise agreement.
