Pizza Hut is a global pizza brand owned by Yum! Brands. Its Australian business — the restaurants, delivery, and master franchise — has since 2023 been operated by the Flynn Group, one of the world's largest restaurant franchisees. Pizza Hut trades through around 260 stores in Australia, almost all run by independent franchisees, with a model centred on takeaway and delivery rather than dine-in.
Because the network is franchised, most jobs are at store level and are advertised by the franchisee that runs each store. Frontline roles — pizza makers and kitchen team members, customer service, and delivery drivers — are commonly casual or part-time under the Fast Food Industry Award and are often a first job, stepping up to shift supervisor and store manager.
