Job Description

Reporting to the FM Director, you will lead a geographically dispersed team to deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes across a range of client accounts. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and client satisfaction while positioning the business for sustainable growth.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Champion and embed a Zero Harm culture across all projects and teams
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated Projects & FM operating models
  • Contribute to and deliver against national, regional, and global business performance objectives
  • Establish and lead a centralized Projects & FM Centre of Excellence

Project & Operational Delivery

  • Oversee a national Projects portfolio ensuring quality, cost control, and ROI outcomes
  • Provide integrated project management and technical expertise across IFMS contracts
  • Standardize and optimize project delivery frameworks, processes, and tools
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and FM licensing requirements across Australia

People Leadership

  • Lead a team of 4 direct reports and ~80 indirect reports
  • Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams with strong succession planning
  • Drive capability uplift across project and operational teams

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Actively support business development, tenders, and growth initiatives
  • Deliver consultancy-led solutions that simplify and improve FM operational outcomes

Commercial Performance

  • Own financial outcomes with strong focus on P&L performance, cost management, and profitability
  • Support sales growth through bid development, pricing strategy, and solution design
  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure compliant, high-value subcontractor arrangements

Qualifications

You are a seasoned Projects leader with strong Facilities Management experience and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

Essential Experience & Capability

  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Projects and/or Facilities Management leadership roles
  • Proven track record managing large-scale project portfolios and high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibility
  • Experience in tendering, bid preparation, and business development
  • Deep understanding of FM service delivery models and integrated solutions
