Working closely with Design Managers and internal MEP experts, you will unlock site potential, develop master plans and drive key design decisions through the early stages of development.</p> <p>This role suits an architect with 5–10 years of post-graduate experience who is looking to take ownership of a complex technical product and build expertise in hyperscale data centre design, master planning and consultant leadership within highly serviced, mission-critical environments.</p> </div> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you'll do</strong></span></p> <div> <ul> <li> <div>Define how Goodman designs, plans and delivers hyperscale data centres, creating scalable architectural solutions across a growing national portfolio.</div> </li> <li> <div>Lead concept design, master planning and massing studies that maximise site potential and support project feasibility.</div> </li> <li> <div>Translate customer requirements, technical standards and commercial objectives into practical architectural solutions during the early stages of development.</div> </li> <li> <div>Partner with Development Managers and internal MEP experts to integrate power, cooling and operational requirements into site planning and building design.</div> </li> <li> <div>Establish and maintain architectural design standards, ensuring consistency across projects, customers and jurisdictions.</div> </li> <li> <div>Guide and coordinate external consultants, driving design quality, timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assess site opportunities and constraints, including access, servicing, planning controls and development pathways.</div> </li> <li> <div>Prepare presentations, test fits, site plans and design material to support investment decisions, customer engagement and stakeholder approvals.</div> </li> <li> <div>Champion innovation and continuous improvement in Goodman's hyperscale data centre product and design approach.</div> </li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Experience required</strong></span></p> <div> <ul> <li> <div>Bachelor or Master of Architecture.</div> </li> <li> <div>5–10 years' post-graduate experience in architecture, master planning</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience in data centres is highly regarded; alternatively, experience in large-scale industrial, infrastructure, logistics or mission-critical environments.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong understanding of how power, cooling and operational infrastructure influence building design and site planning.</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating consultants through concept and feasibility stages.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of Australian planning frameworks, zoning controls and development approval processes.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong spatial planning, problem-solving and master planning capabilities.</div> </li> <li> <div>Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.</div> </li> <li> <div>Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, Enscape or Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence design outcomes across technical and non-technical audiences.</div> </li> </ul> <div><strong>To apply</strong>, submit your CV and a brief portfolio or sample of relevant project work.</div> </div> </div> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span data-teams="true">The Benefits</span></strong></span></p> <p>At Goodman we know that our people are integral to our company success.
