We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Customer & Sales Delivery team.
About the role
Join a team that’s shaping the in-store experience for our customers. This is a chance to work on meaningful, high-impact initiatives across our Point of Sale (POS) platforms within Customer & Sales -owning the in-store checkout, payments and systems that enable end-to-end sales, returns and store operations. While your primary customers are Bunnings team members in-store, the outcomes you deliver directly influence the experience of our end customers.
Partnering closely with delivery, product, engineering and architecture, you’ll solve complex problems that genuinely make a difference. A million ways to make an impact – and you’ll be right at the centre of it.
You’ll play a key role in bringing clarity to big, ambiguous challenges, guiding the squad from early discovery all the way through to delivery. With a supportive team inspiring you to give it a red hot go, you’ll help uplift how we plan, analyse and deliver outcomes across Customer & Sales.
What’s involved
In this role, you’ll have opportunities to:
- Lead end‑to‑end analysis across large, complex initiatives - building shared understanding, alignment and a clear path forward
- Shape discovery by facilitating collaborative sessions, bringing together business needs, store insights and technical inputs into clear, outcome‑focused work
- Break down large problem spaces into prioritised epics and user stories that support meaningful, incremental delivery
- Work closely with delivery, product, engineering and architecture to ensure solutions are well understood, scalable and fit‑for‑purpose
- Map customer journeys, in‑store workflows and process flows to identify opportunities, dependencies and areas for improvement
- Balance business, customer (store team) and technical perspectives to drive the right outcomes, not just the quickest solutions
- Support delivery health - driving backlog readiness, refining work continuously, and championing quality across the squad
- Mentor and support other analysts, contributing to uplifting BA capability, standards and ways of working across the broader practice
About you
You enjoy bringing structure and clarity to complex challenges and are comfortable operating in spaces where not everything is defined upfront. You’re naturally collaborative and enjoy working closely with product, engineering and architecture to unpack problems and shape solutions that work in the real world.
You bring strong commercial awareness, curiosity and a pragmatic mindset - allowing you to guide conversations, challenge thinking where required, and keep teams focused on delivering meaningful customer and business outcomes.
You’re confident engaging with both business stakeholders and technical teams, and you understand how to translate between the two to ensure alignment and momentum.
You’ll thrive in a team that values openness, teamwork and continuous improvement, and you’ll actively contribute to building strong ways of working and sharing knowledge across the group.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst in an agile delivery environment
- Experience leading end‑to‑end analysis across complex, multi‑system initiatives
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills across business and technology teams
- Ability to take large, ambiguous problems and turn them into clear, structured, prioritised work
- Strong understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria and outcome‑driven delivery
- Ability to work closely with product, engineering and architecture teams, connecting business needs to technical realities
- Experience mentoring others or contributing to capability uplift
- Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence
- Experience working on in-store platforms or Point of Sale (POS) systems would be highly regarded.
