About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Specialist to join our team, based at our QLD Support Office in Mt Gravatt, to support the North Division. In this role, you’ll support day‑to‑day outbound delivery operations across our Brisbane metro and regional network, helping ensure our customer delivery offer is consistently achieved. What’s involved

  • Act as a subject matter expert for last mile transport through overseeing transport booking portals and the implementation of customer delivery offers, guidelines and freight packaging expectations and presentation
  • Monitor carrier performance, addressing and escalating any last mile delivery issues as required
  • Identify opportunities on site regarding outbound loading efficiencies and work with site teams and carriers to implement any new initiatives
  • Identify and minimise excess transport expenses, monitoring carrier usage, utilisation and rates
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across sites and other support functions such as safety and trade

Who we are looking for

You'll be proactive and organised and enjoy working across multiple stakeholder groups. You can bring structure and momentum to day-to-day delivery coordination and improvement activities across the region.

You’ll be comfortable engaging with store team members, leaders, internal support functions, service providers, and confident balancing priorities to achieve the best customer outcomes.

You'll need

  • Experience supporting customer deliveries across transport, prior demonstrated experience within account management or customer management would be highly regarded
  • Proven experience in Last Mile Transport, Retail or Warehousing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key suppliers especially those related to Transportation and/or Supply Chain is preferred
  • Confidence influencing and guiding teams to follow processes
  • Ability to problem‑solve in real‑time and balance competing needs
  • Competence using systems, booking portals, or operational tools
