The Opportunity

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join the team based in Westall VIC. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

We’re thrilled to offer multiple permanent Warehouse Team Member roles across day and afternoon shift!

No previous experience? No problem!  We will provide you with all the on-the-job training and support needed to develop you in your new career.

Indicative times for our shift patterns are Monday to Friday as follows:

• Day shift is 6am – 2pm - start early, finish early, and have your afternoons free for family, friends, or hobbies.
• Afternoon shift is 2pm – 10pm - enjoy quieter roads, beat the traffic, and have most of your day free.

This permanent full-time role offers a competitive weekly rate. Your starting weekly rate will range from $1,157.86 to $1,237.66 (pre-tax), depending on your skills and experience, plus superannuation and applicable shift allowances (20% afternoon shift loading).

What Will You Do?

In this important role, you'll be part of a supportive team responsible for safely handling, processing, and preparing steel products to meet customer requirements and quality standards.

• contribute to a safe, supportive workplace where everyone looks out for each other
• operate forklifts and cranes with confidence (we’ll provide full training if you’re new to it)
• use well-maintained machinery to help create quality products
• carefully pack, strap, and conduct quality checks for our steel products, based on customer requirements
• take pride in keeping your workplace clean, well-maintained, and ready for the next shift team to use
• conduct all tasks and duties with a high level of customer centricity
